For you, your word says in Psalms 127:2 NIV, “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves”

Prayer For Chronic Insomnia
Heavenly Father. You are my light and salvation. Whom shall I fear? I bow before your throne. You deserve all praise and thanks.
Father, I have chronic insomnia. I have seen my doctor about this. He has proffered so many solutions but nothing seems to work.
I have been referred to a specialist. I still haven’t seen any improvement.
I lift my eyes unto the hills. From where comes my help? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and the Earth.
Lord, I pray that you break the yoke of chronic insomnia over my life. By the precious blood of Jesus, I overcome chronic insomnia.
I decree and declare that I am free from chronic insomnia.
For your word says in John 8:36 NIV, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”
Thank you, Lord, for setting me form from chronic insomnia. Tonight my sleep will be sweet. All the glory goes to you.

Precious Lord. All power belongs to you. Thank you for your tender mercies and lovingkindness. I praise and worship your Holy Name.
Lord, I feel anxious about the current difficulties confronting me. This is affecting my sleep. Help me to stay calm and believe with you nothing shall be impossible.
I pray and take authority over fear and anxiety. Your hold over me is broken.
2 Timothy 1:7 says, “ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and a sound mind.”
Therefore I decree and decree peace of mind during my sleep. I bind the spirit of fear and anxiety.

Prayer Against Nightmares
Heavenly Father, you are the shepherd of my soul. Thank you for the opportunity to see the dawn of a new day. I give you all the praise.
Lord, I have been experiencing nightmares during my sleep at night. This interferes with my sleep. I am not able to sleep after that.
Lord I pray and take authority over any nightmares.
For your word says in Psalm 23:4 KJV, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me”
I plead the blood of Jesus against nightmares. No more nightmares in Jesus’ Name.

Abba Father. I thank you and bring my sacrifice of praise to you this day. You are my shepherd. Therefore I shall not want.
As I go to bed tonight, I ask for your hand protection over me. Protect me from any sleep disturbances.
